I forgot to tell everyone about the snow. Two weeks ago they had a major snow storm here in Shenyang. Well they are still cleaning up snow and it is piled everywhere. The weather now is nice and starting to warm up a bit.
Tonight we went to a mall across from the hotel. We found a food court with some wonderful looking food and the boys found a DQ. Can you say Peanut Buster Parfait or Banana Split in Chinese? In any case the ice cream was great. Robin, the girls and I had some wonderful authentic Chinese food. We are in a very nice part of town with lots of shopping near by. Some very high end shops (we will look only). There is also a play area at the mall and while there we met two families from the US that are here teaching at the university, it was nice to meet other English speaking people. Most people here do not speak much English so communicating is interesting.
Friday is shopping day, we will post more photos as we can.
Don't forget to read down to see the rest of Day 5.

Hi guys! We are so happy for you! We can't wait to meet Shiyan. She is beautiful! Now you have 2 amazing daughters and 3 wonderful boys. We will keep praying that Shiyan is healthy and adapting well. Tell everyone we miss them and we can't wait to see you soon!
Love, Jaime
If you get a chance, go to the book store across from the hotel. We found some stories that came with a CD. On the CD they tell the story first in Chinese and then in English. Julie has been listening to these at nap and bed time. It is helping her to clam down and go to sleep. I'm sure the familiar language is comforting to her. So glad to hear Shiyan is dong well physically. I will contunue to pray for her little heart.

Wow, what a heavenly time you are having right now. Don't forget to relax at some point and soak it all in! You all look like you're floating on cloud nine. It's bringing back many happy memories for me! I had to call david and the kids over to the computer this morning to see all the photos! The kids remember you and can't believe how big Laura got! Shiyan is so sweet; just right for cuddling with!! Laura sounds like she is exhibiting the same feelings Brenna had when we brought Ella home. Perhaps you experienced it with your boys. You know it may take some time but they do learn to love each other. Our girls are inseperable at this point. Can't wait to read the next post! Keep those happy family photos coming!
