Merry Christmas

Well we have made it through Christmas and are still waiting on Travel Approval.

Laura was a blast this Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed opening her gifts along with any other unclaimed gift under the tree. We all had a great Christmas but were all aware that Shiyan was missing. Laura asked us to "Pray for Shiyan"

We anxiously await our TA so we can get on to China. Happy New Year to everyone.

Packing and preparing

Well today we began pulling together some of the things we will need for the trip to China. At least this way when we get busy with Christmas a lot is already in place. We are praying for quick travel approvals so we can get Shiyan home with us.

Be praying for her and for us as we wait to travel.

We have a baby

Well on November 21, we received the call that we would soon be the parents to Shin Wen Yi, soon to be Shiyan Wen Yi. God is so good and was so evident in this process. It has amazed us to see the ways God has opened doors and confirmed that we were on the path he has charted for us.

All paperwork is submitted and now we wait for travel. Looks like we will be in very COLD northern China during the middle of winter. That is fine, just get us to our baby.
